Alexander: Greek Orthodox Christening, Sydney

Take one look at this little guy and it’s clear he’s a real charmer. Alexander had a great time at his Christening – he was grabbing the priest’s cheeks during the service, treated the dip into the baptismal font like it was bath time, and was rewarded at the end of the day with cake and a beautifully-decorated table of delicious treats. In between the cheek-grabbing and dessert, family and guests were treated to a wonderful service at the friendly St Euphemia Greek Orthodox Church in Bankstown. Then it was off to lunch at Nostos in Leichhardt for some fun time with friends and family.

Johnny: Greek Orthodox Christening, Sydney

Welcome to Johnny’s amazing Christening and first birthday. What a big day for the little guy! We photographed Johnny’s family session a few months back – it’s lovely to see our clients again down the track. We always have a great catch up with the parents and we also get to see how their little ones are growing!

Johnny’s Christening was held at St Euphemia Greek Orthodox church in Bankstown. It was a moving ceremony – Johnny’s tears weren’t the only ones to be shed! Following the Christening all family and guests were invited to a fun and lively reception at Vessel restaurant at King St Wharf. The celebrations included kids entertainers, pinball machines, musicians and delicious food. And what Greek celebration is complete without smashing a few dozen plates on the dance floor?!

Congratulations Johnny – thanks for having me along on your special day!
